[Mikazuki checks out the gardens, then the entire estate, before finally settling enough to return to his (uncomfortably lavish) room. He manages a catnap before the smell of food wakes him, and he follows the scent like he's been blown in on the breeze, entirely casual and entirely unfitting to his surroundings.]
[McGillis is already waiting at the table, bright and groomed and like he just came out of some new box for a shiny perfect person and not like it's ass in the morning. He's sipping coffee.]
[Do demons sleep? They clearly eat, and Mikazuki doesn't look like he's slept, but ah well. He pushes some food onto Mikazuki's plate and pours him some orange juice. You are clearly too young of a demon to need coffee.]
[He picks up a tablet and absently scrolls through it.]
We have a full agenda today getting you outfitted and settled in. And then--well it's a little quick but I have the first assignment I want you to do for me.
[Murder first thing in the morning is uncivilized? Besides, he intends to get Mika plenty of snacks so the obviously starving demon doesn't go hungry.
And he does basically fill the morning with getting Mika a suit but letting him keep the jacket and stuffing the pockets with healthy bags of dried fruit, fruit leather, trail mix, and a bag of chocolate lady bugs.
FINALLY he pulls Mikazuki into his office and flicks his tablet to a picture of an oily looking man.]
This is who I need you to kill. Can you do it without being seen?
[he doesn't clean up all that nice, especially since. jacket. every inch of him keeps screaming "teenager playing at being an adult". but he also doesn't object to the healthier snacks, accepting them with only slightly less enthusiasm than he does the chocolates- so pretty damned happy, just also his casual and straightforward self.
he eyes the man on the screen critically for a moment, then nods.]
[Well it's not like he has a KNIFE ROOM but he does have a room filled with random things and some of them are old suits of armor and weapons. He does not go for any fancy daggers or things people would notice are missing, instead opening an unassuming cabinet and picking out a sturdy combat knife.]

get that boy some nuts or grapes or something.]
'Night.

Goodnight, Mikazuki.
[He stands and clears the things away, and then, well, the only thing left is to review his plans for the next day and sleep.
The morning brings the smells of coffee and breakfast. Cooked by a servant, not McGillis.]

[settling across from him, entirely rough around the edges, more so than yesterday from the looks of it and still wearing his big-ass coat.]

[Mikazuki wastes no time in putting said food in his face, the opposite of picky.]

[and also sounds boring, whereas, ASSIGNMENT.]
no subject
Well, to put it bluntly, I'll be having you kill someone for me.
no subject
Okay. Anything specific I should know?
no subject
[He appreciates your eagerness to murder here but.]

[he thinks Mackey's priorities on timing are a little off, but also he's trusting Mackey's judgment. So. Whatever.]

I can.

[No need to be needlessly cruel.]
Or at the very least, swift.
no subject
[he really is just.... so casual about this.]
no subject
Good. Is there anything you'll need?

[Knives... Hm he has a few. Not in his office though so he's steering Mika out to another room.]
no subject
[letting himself be steered, half curious but mostly just okay with it.]
no subject
Will this do?
no subject
Yeah. That'll do just fine.
no subject
Is there anything else?
